Hannah Lane
Hannah Lane is a mixed-media artist based in Nashville, Tennessee, known for bold, colorful abstract work rooted in her Louisiana upbringing and Southern culture. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a background in illustration and graphic design, she was drawn to painting after living in Italy, where the marbled papers of Florence shaped her process. Her work has been featured on HGTV's "Flip or Flop Nashville" and HGTV Canada's "Making It Home with Kortney & Kenny," and it is in galleries and collections across the country.
Since 2012, Lane has hand-dyed Japanese and patterned papers and layered them with pastels and acrylic paint to build rich, textured compositions. Her Crowd Series, one of her most iconic collections, is inspired by her big Louisiana family, Southern gatherings, and Nashville's live music. Her palm paintings draw on travels to Baja California, and her recent palette features neon yellows, aquas, and blues. Studio E Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, represents Hannah Lane.
