Portrait of Victor Bokas

Victor Bokas

Victor Bokas is an Orlando-based painter known for colorful abstract paintings full of tropical icons, bold patterns, and a playful touch. Born and raised in the Florida Panhandle, he draws his palette from Florida's beaches, sunsets, and landscapes. Bokas spent nine years as Senior Art Director for SeaWorld and 20 years at Tupperware Brands, and he designed a 15-by-85-foot mosaic floor of natural stone and glazed enamel for Terminal A at Orlando International Airport.

His energetic compositions feel like a carnival or a dance, but an underlying grid keeps them balanced so the eye never gets lost. Florals and abstracts remain favorite subjects, and his recent work adds collage and gel prints to acrylic. Studio E Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, represents Victor Bokas.
