Vesela Baker

Vesela Baker is a full-time painter working from her studio in Chattanooga, Tennessee, known for bright, joyful paintings in acrylic and watercolor on wood and paper. She studied art at the University of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria, and her work is in private and corporate collections across the Southeast and nationwide. Baker says she was painting before she was walking, and her travels and the many places she has lived shape the stories in her work.

Her paintings swing from nearly realistic to fully abstract, depending on how much she lets instinct take over. She favors fast-drying acrylic and watercolor and moves between wood and paper to keep her work fresh. Studio E Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, represents Vesela Baker.
