Josh Brown

Josh Brown is a New York City painter known for minimalist, expressive animal paintings that capture each subject's personality with graphic precision. Working with sculptural brushstrokes and a palette knife, he gives his work energy, joy, and a sense of humor. Brown graduated summa cum laude in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where he was a scholarship athlete, soccer team captain, and three-time NAIA Academic All-American.

His paintings and sculptures are shown at galleries including Shain Gallery in Charlotte, Michael Mitchell Gallery in Charleston, and Lagerquist Gallery in Atlanta. Brown has also used his art to raise money for women's shelters, animal rights groups, and children's hospitals. Studio E Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, represents Josh Brown.
