John Arena

John Arena, known as the Guitar Pick Artist, is a mosaic artist who builds portraits of music legends out of thousands of guitar picks. A former healthcare executive, he began making art during the pandemic, combining his love of classic rock with a new creative path. His portraits of icons like Jimi Hendrix and Alice Cooper are known for their intricate detail and vibrant energy.

Every piece is one of a kind. Arena's work has been shown in galleries and art shows in Miami, Palm Beach, Chicago, and New York, and one of his portraits set an event record by raising $120,000 for Alice Cooper's charity. Studio E Gallery in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, represents John Arena's guitar pick mosaics.
