A graduate of the esteemed Savannah College of Art & Design, Lane's artistic journey began in illustration and graphic design, only to fervently discover her calling as a painter. Her path led her across continents, from Italy to the lively streets of New Orleans, finally settling in the artistic enclave of Nashville, Tennessee.

Influenced by the marbled papers of Florence, Italy, Lane began her exploration of materials, harnessing the artistry of pigmenting Japanese and patterned papers with ink. This transformative process precedes layering with pastels and acrylic paint, creating a symphony of mystery and revelation in her artworks. The journey through her creative process is as captivating as the final piece itself.

Now immersed in the thriving art community of Nashville, Lane passionately dedicates her days to painting in her home studio.
