My paintings are created through an experimental release of my own spontaneous energy that comes from within.

When viewing the artwork of Estelle Chojnicki, one is transported to a serene ocean of colors dancing across the canvas. The palette that she works within is both soft and impactful. The eyes follow the natural movements of the colored ink in a way that almost has a rhythm to it. Before you know it, you are lost in the delicate details of the interacting ink. The subtly curled edges, the rich blending of colors and the organic shapes all create a tranquil but adventurous viewing experience. A sense of ease is undeniable.

Estelle Chojnicki lives and works out of Florida. She looks to art to provide a creative outlet to express the spirit within. She prefers working on large canvas. The oversized surfaces allow her to create images that captivate the viewer. As an artist, this is her ultimate goal. She describes her energetic nature and imagination to be the spirit behind each of her creations.

Estelle chooses her medium carefully, wanting to effectively embrace her passion for freedom and effortless flow. Ink and acrylic provide the perfect combination to achieve her vision. 

Having grown up in a rural neighborhood of Central New York, Estelle finds comfort in her peaceful Florida residence. She spends much of her time painting in her studio. When she isn't creating, she is enjoying time with her family. She and her husband have been married for 28 years, and together they have four children. Her artwork is an expression of the story of her life. Through her work she channels the memories of her travels "from the peaceful countryside of New York, the lights of Paris to the wild surf of the Pacific Ocean and the charm of New England."
