Mario Jung: Renowned Korean Artist Known for Vivid Landscapes
Born in Seoul, South Korea, on September 14, 1949, Myung “Mario” Jung is an internationally acclaimed artist recognized for his richly textured landscapes. His artistic journey began at Seoul Industrial Junior College, where he graduated in 1971, laying the foundation for his career in fine art.
In 1986, Mario gained widespread recognition when he was awarded the Grand Prize for Western-style painting at the Exhibition of Fine Art of the Seoul Artists Association. Following this success, he was invited to become a lifetime member of the prestigious Seoul Artists Association, where he has been actively involved for over three decades.

Regaining his strength and senses, Mario returned to his passion with renewed purpose, refining his distinctive artistic style.
His paintings are celebrated for their vibrant color palettes, expressive brushstrokes, and intricate textures. Whether capturing the warm glow of a sunset over vast poppy fields or the delicate realism of intertwining lilies, his work invites viewers into immersive, emotional landscapes.
